(1) We love this swing! When we brought our daughter home from the hospital she would not sleep in her crib or her pack-n-play so we put her in the swing in our bedroom…..she slept great!!! During the day we would let her swing but at night we would just put her in to sleep without rocking b/c we didn’t want her to get used to only sleeping with movement. We slowly started moving the swing farther and farther from our room until she ended up sleeping in her own room. She is 3 1/2 months old now and sleeping in her crib because she is getting very wiggly at night and ends up almost sideways when I get her up in the morning….so we decided it was time for her to start sleeping in a bed!
(2) I did my fair share of research when I decided to buy a new swing. This one was surprisingly one of the cheapest and also had all the features I was looking for. The thing I like the most is the light show, which keeps my baby’s attention. Another great thing about this swing is that it plugs into the wall so I dont have to buy batteries all the time. You can also switch it to battery power if you want to take it outside or something. The mobile is cute and the sounds are soothing. My 18 month old and 3 year old love to play with it also. The volume control is also handy, I turn the volume up when he is just sitting there to keep him entertained; and I turn the volume down lower when I want him to go to sleep. I saw a lot of complaints about the color. The checkered parts of the swing do look more purple than blue, but in my opinion it is not overdone. This swing is perfect for a boy or girl.
(3) This swing is fantastic! Electric or battery run - wonderful music selection or nature sounds with several volume choices. Rocking can be forward and back or sideways. Comfortable and adjustable seat. Grandson loves listening to all the different sounds while watching the star lights (really beautiful at night as lights show up against the lightweight siding) and moving stars and teddy bear - usually asleep w/i about 10 minutes!
