I am in the process of remodeling my “old” house. The walls are plaster which have become very brittle and delicate over the years. Hammering to install new molding was out of the question. I have had no problems sinking 16D’s in even engineered lumber. For everyday use the 350A is highly recommended.

Closest thing to an industrial machine.,

I bought Juki TL98Q High Speed Sewing and Quilting Machine a few years ago because I couldn’t resist the idea of a faster home machine. I still have my Bernina, (25 years old) that sews beautifully, But I have to admit that I LOVE sewing on this machine. It is fast and the stitches are solid. It also has the same features that I love on my Bernina, which is the leg lift, and easy set up. The threading is smooth, and downright flawless. Honestly, the price is fantastic if you consider what you have to pay for an industrial machine, or even a brand new Bernina. I find that I can do 80% of my sewing using a single stitch. I have to switch back to my Bernina for button holes and maybe special darning projects (which I rarely use). I’ve worked on vinyl, polyester chiffon, denim and lots of cotton. Stitches are so clean, I would trust this machine for decorative top stitching. I didn’t really “need” this additional machine, but now that I have it, I would never give it up.

Machine is very straight forward in its use. Simple to operate and very sturdy. Has a very large table add on which makes it great for quilting. Machine operates extremely well with the Grace stitch regulator when used in a frame. It is very fast and has a nice stitch. Has a built in cone thread holder which makes it nice for machine quilting.

I purchased the Janome 7330 Magnolia sewing machine a couple months ago based on customers’ reviews…in particular, the first review here caught my attention…I’m an experienced sewer, and this is my third machine…I’m very happy with it…it’s very easy to thread…after reading the instructions about the various settings/buttons, I found it easy to operate. The stitches are nice; I didn’t have to adjust the tension or anything. Perfect for a bigginer

This is my 1st sewing machine. I brought it to a sewing class to learn how to sew, and it was one of the easiest and lightest. Compared to the other it’s pretty quiet and doesn’t “jump” or move while sewing. I bought mine from Wal-Mart and it came with a DVD on how to set up the machine, how to straight stitch, how to zig-zag stitch, sew a button and install a zipper. It’s has 14 different stitches so it’s not only a great machine to learn on but can be used once you learn how to sew well. I have hemmed jeans with a size 14 needle (what it comes with) with no problem, but bought a size 16 needle to make sure it doesn’t brake! I love this machine and recommend it to ANYONE!

I recently upgraded to this machine from a 10 year old Kenmore I was having issues with. What a find! This machine has lots of bells and whistles, which is an added bonus, but it’s also very user friendly. I’ve already produced a tote bag on it and look forward to working with it more in the near future.

I wanted a reliable machine that had multiple functions, so that I could expand beyond my current methods to something more elaborate. This machine has met my expectations so far. It sews smoothly through multiple layers of fabric, interfacing and lining, with ease. I haven’t even had to use the foot pedal as there’s a start/stop button feature! I feel like I’ve stepped out of the dark ages into the future. =) I’m hoping that the machine lasts, especially for the price, but for now, I’m satisfied with my investment. I would recommend it to anyone considering buying it!

This is my 1st brand new machine. I had always rec’d hand-me-downs before and they were never good machines to begin with. I would rate myself as a decent sewer. I recently got into quilting. This machine you will give you nice stiches, you don’t have to worry about your project falling apart. (If you have ever had that happen you know how devasting it can be). I think this machine would be good for anyone, even if they were new to sewing. The manual is super easy and so is winding the bobbin and threading the machine. I did a lot of research and for the features, this was the best quality for the price.

Its been about 12 years since I have sewed (on a borrowed machine)… I purchased this machine in Feb and it was so easy to set up and use.. I am about halfway done a baby quilt and have really enjoyed sewing again. I think that if the machine hadn’t worked so nicely I would have been frustrated. I haven’t sewn enough to really know how to fix problems. The instruction manual was easy to follow and at one point when the tension wasn’t right, the manual provided me what I needed to fix it…. I have a friend who sews regularly who recommended this to me and I have been exremely happy…..

A great value for a quality product

The ad said it was lightweight and it is wonderfully so. The quick start guide was easy to follow to get started right away on my projects. It is a diagram-based chart for getting the bobbin and the machine threaded and I breezed through it; however, when I got to the automatic needle threader, I got a bit frustrated figuring out how the mechanicism worked. When I realized I had to look at the needle hole at a left angle and not straight on, I saw how the mechanism worked and it then was so easily to thread the machine I almost cried for joy. I have never had an automatic needle threader before and it is wonderful.

I played with the dials on a piece of scrap fabric for a 10 minutes and then started on my projects. I did some light mending and then finished with sewing heavy outdoor fabric and the machine handled it all beautifully. The reverse stitch button is prominent and easy to push and the machine responds quickly. As an aside, the machine comes with lots of gizmos to do all kinds of special sewing projects (embroidery) and also 4 standard needles. For my outdoor heavy fabric, I need to buy the appropriate needle next time (I broke one of the standard needles) but the machine itself soared right through the tough task I put it through. Swapping the work surface from sleeve fitting to a large table top work surface and back to as it is pictured here is a snap. It comes with a cloth carrying case. I bought a plastic case and that was a waste of money because the cloth case is sufficient for this lightweight sewing machine. I am so pleased with this product. You can have a great sewing machine for a reasonable price and store it quickly and easily. No need for a whole room in your home for sewing!

This machine represents the most incredible value-for-money on the market today. It is very, very easy to use, and the manual is exceptionally helpful. It comes with every foot and accessory you could ever possibly need. In fact, there is nothing more you can buy for it. Compare that to the other sewing machine manufacturers, which give you only the most basic feet and then you must purchase everything else separately. If you have been hankering for the convenience of fully computerized sewing, automatic needle threading, push-button sewing, and lots of fun stitches, don’t hesitate. I highly recommend this machine. I’ve owned very expensive machines from all the top manufacturers, and would not recommend it if the stitches were not beautiful or if it were loud or junky. A High-Quality Bed Pad At A Great Price!,

This high-quality waterproof pad is made the same way as those that are used in hospitals only it - the Priva pad, is twice the size. I purchased two of these pads for my 86 year old mother who has a bladder control problem and alzheimers. We also have a safety rail on one side of her full-sized bed because she lays entirely on that one side and would fall of were it not there. The other side of her bed is against a wall as is her headboard. She can really, REALLY wet herself through the night if she doesn’t wake up to go on her commode. (Or she calls someone to help her.) I position the pad lengthwise down the bed so she lays on the entire pad. It is wonderfull, it greatly protects the sheets and bed from wetness. I would give it more stars if I could!!! It does shift just ever so slightly but not more than an inch and is very comfortable to lay on. (I asked her this when she was in a good frame of mind so I know it to be true.) I give these Super-Plus bed pads from Priva my highest reccomendation and will purchase two more.

Best waterproof pad ever!!!,

This pad is nice and big. It is very, very waterproof. I purchased this pad because we got a new puppy. The puppy pads that you buy are expensive and even the large size ones are not that big. Even if a dog uses them chances are great that it will run off on the carpet. My puppy learned to go on these thru the night by my placing a puppy pad in the center, eventually eliminating the puppy pad and just using the matress pad. (She is now trained and doesn’t use them) When she would wet on them it would never, ever leak thru to the carpet. If you are buying this pad for a bed rest assured that if it didn’t leak thru to the carpet it will not leak thru to a mattress. These are very thick with a great waterproof lining on the bottom. I bought 2 of them and they have been washed over and over. They have yet to show any wear. I would recommend them to anyone trying to keep anything dry. I know I will find other uses for them and will never get rid of them for fear of never finding them again!!!
