(1) I went to a friend’s home for dinner and he pointed out this wonderful little globe that he picked up while on vacation in Maine. It’s so incredibly cool! The globe actually rotates without battery power. A magnet inserted in the core of the globe propels rotation when the globe sits in a window or next to a sunlight source. It rotates based on the same principles of physics as the real planet Earth! Buy one – you’ll love it! The price of $87.00 on Amazon is great – my friend paid $135.00 for the one he picked up in Maine.
