(1) I have to say it again – WOW! It was always a pain in the neck to get our Christmas tree in the stand. We procrastinated getting rid of our old stand because it had such a large water reservoir, but after Christmas last year I researched stands and found excellent reviews for this one – plus it had a 2.5 gallon reservoir.
Well, we just got finished putting our tree in the stand – I never would have believed it, but I think it took less than 1 minute!! You just place the trunk in the center and crank the foot pedal and it’s done! I tried to shake the tree and it wouldn’t budge. The company recommends getting a padlock for safety, but since my children are older, I feel very comfortable with the stability of this stand. We filled it with water (a lot of it!)and the “bobber” floated up to a red line that indicates the basin is full. No more sticking my finger in the base. It’s a wonderful thing

(2) My husband and I always snapped at each other while trying to put up the tree in our old-fashioned Christmas tree stand (the screw type), which are awful. The tree was never straight or secure. Now that we’re using the Krinner stand, it’s a snap to put up the tree – and we haven’t argued during our tree installation since we started using it 3 years ago!
