For grinding larger quantities of coffee beans for a coffee-drinking crowd, Capresso’s commercial-grade Infinity grinder handles 8-1/2 ounces of beans at a time. Sixteen different settings–four each in the four categories of extra fine, fine, regular, and coarse–let you adjust the grind to the specific blend of coffee and method of brewing. The finest setting is ideal for preparing Turkish coffee, which is a rare feature to find in a grinder.  I am a first time burr grinder user. I too, did a lot of research before settling on this grinder. I wanted to upgrade from a blade grinder (braun) but not spend a fortune. I have only used it for coarse grind to use in my french press, but it seems to be doing great. Since it’s spring, I’m not experiencing any problems with static cling. Cleanup? yup there’s clean up, but not a big deal if you’re a person used to cleaning up after yourself anyway. The only problem I’ve had, which is only my stupidity, is that twice I have forgotten to put the drawer back in place before I grind and end with grinds on the counter! I have been using this for couple weeks now and will report back in a few months! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Oh, and it is much quieter (low pitched grinding) than the whine of my Braun blade grinder.
