(1) I waited a lot of years to get some good quality pans. When the kids moved out, I knew it was time to splurge. So, I looked on the internet to compare prices and reviews for a while before I bought them. I’m pretty much a tightwad! I’m glad I looked around, because I got a great price on Amazon. I LOVE these pans! They heat up very evenly, it’s really hard to burn anything, which is usually very easy for me, and they are super easy to clean. I’ve had them for about a year now, and use them daily and they are still in excellent condition. My only regret is that I didnt buy them years ago!
(2) This is our 3rd try at nonstick cookware. First, Cuisinart and then Calphalon. Both were not truly nonstick and Cuisinart has a titanium coating. Circulon really is nonstick and the cleanup is a snap. Other reviews mention nothing happens if put into a dishwasher but I have been told that is dangerous b/c the coating scratches and can leak onto food. These pans cook food better and washing up a pan takes less than a minute – certainly a worthwhile effort for a healthier cookware approach. I would highly recommend this set.
