(1) I bought this scale based on Hungry Girl’s raving review because my kitchen scale was over 10 years old and didn’t really weigh things very well anymore. My husband was recently diagnosed with Diabetes and we needed to start weighing and calculating his food. This scale was originally bought for him, but the kids got in on the action. They thought it was fun to weigh food to see what an serving size actually was…boy were they surprised when their bowls full of cereal were actual 3 servings. I think they are now using it more that the intended recipent.
What’s really great about this scale is that you can put your bowl on the scale, reset it to zero and then weigh your cereal, then reset it to zero again and add your blueberries….All in the same bowl! No need to get anything dirty except the bowl you are going to eat from.
I also love the fact that it takes no special sized batteries.
The design is nice, it’s easy to read and easy to clean.
All in all, we love it and use it every day.
(2) Fianlly I have discovered the PERFECT scale for my kitchen and diet needs! I need my kitchen to be neat and I dispise large appliances all over the place. This scale is small enough to place any where yet it is so useful! It also has a nice style to it so that when I do leave it out, it looks great on my counter. Great product for a great price!!
