(1) This pan is so versatile and like all the Le Crueset cookware it cooks beautifully and cleans so easily. It’s almost impossible to burn anything in it
(2) I really like this pan. It cooks things very well, and the vent hole is nice. I did have an incident that I cooked milk at too high a heat, and it boiled over and shot out of the vent hole like a geyser. That was my fault, though. You do not have to use as high a heat as you would with other pans, and it keeps heat nicely. I have bought several le creuset pans recently, and they are just as if not easier to clean than my old cheap teflon covered pans. I am really happy that I made the switch!
(3) We received this saucier as a wedding gift from a friend, and she really knew what she was doing when she bought this pan! The heat distribution on this thing is incredible, so you don’t get the typical “hot” and “cold” spots as you would with cheaper cookware. The weight is substantial, but not too much even for a petite person such as me to handle, lift, or hand wash. The little vent hole in the lid is a nice touch, and the colors (we have flame) will really brighten things up around your kitchen. It is well worth the money to purchase this pan, especially since it has a 101 year warranty.
(4) This is a great sauce pan. I made the best spanish rice in it, moist and silky, not too wet and not too dry. cooked evenly, and love the vent in the lid. The only drawback is that it is heavy compared to other pans. I aso love the versatile color. I will continue adding to my collection of Le Crueset.
