Excellent Thermostat…but pricey,
I’ve been using this thermostat for over a year now and it’s a great thermostat. It’s not intuitive, but once you practice setting it everythng’s fine. One feature I like is it has a programmable “swing” which allows me to let the temperature in the house drop or increase up to three degrees before the heat/a-c kicks in…this saves a lot of energy and prevents “short cycling.” Most thermostats that I’ve researched only allow a one degree deviation from the temperature I want and that’s not very efficient in saving energy. I don’t like Honeywell as I’ve had two of them fail; granted they were low end units, but not much fun when the temperature is sub-zero.
