This is a fantastic item! I had two dead trees which I cut down in my backyard, and then I used this alligator lopper to cut them up into manegeable portions. It worked wonderfully, and a battery charge lasted more than an hour of almost continuous lopping.

I purchased this cordless lopper for brush clean up around my cabin. Works as advertized. Much safer than a chain saw as it grabs the limbs being cut and holds them in place. Reduces project time in half. My only complaint is that the battery life is rather short and the charging time too long. Very satisfied with the tool, all things considered.

There’s not much this Black & Decker NLP1800 Alligator can’t do. We used it on & off for 5 hours before it died. But it does what it says. Cuts through quickly and painlessly. Not cumbersome even though it has a bit of weight to it. Anyone with lots of trimming or land to cover will appreciate the cordless capability, no cords, no gas. Just a great tool. Highly recommended. Actually bought 2 because everyone working in the yard wanted to use it instead of the other tools (chainsaws,hand loppers,hand pruning saws,hand clippers). It’s just fast and practical, gets the job done with the least amount of exertion. I’m a 51 year old female and I love this tool.

I just love this Black & Decker NLP1800 Alligator saw..if you can get the jaws around it,it’s goin down..I was cutting way bigger the 4 inches…power lasted a long time on big trees..convienient just grab and cut..didn’t real try to notch trees to determine fall place..two hand on handles or no cut(safety)/handles give good force on tree..just ordered 2nd battery..
