Milwaukee 6509-22 Sawzall 11 Amp Reciprocating Saw Review
It’s named Sawzall for a reason…, November 1, 2010![]()
I recently purchased this Milwaukee’s 10 Amp Sawzall Reciprocating S to demo a garage. Before this I owned a Mikita 6 amp recip saw but wanted something with more of a bite. Holy S’ this thing is awesome. It chewed through everything. I was able to change blades on the flay without having to look for a key. For it size it’s light, powerful, and solid. I have yet to find something this tool can’t cut through.
Items I sawed:
Oil Tank
Entire Walls (Studs, sheathing, Aluminum siding)
Sub floor
Roofing Shingles and sheathing
¼” Rebar
Entire flight of stairs
Countless Studs with nails
Refrigerator (just to see if it could, and it did)
Aluminum\tin awning
You’re going to see some reviews stating this company was bought by another foreign company but trust me, the quality hasn’t been affected.
Overall I’m rating this Milwaukee’s 10 Amp Sawzall Reciprocating five stars. It does the job and it does it well.

Was not disappointed. I’ve had a year’s worth with this beast…everything from cutting heavy-duty plumbing pipes, drain plugs, thick tree branches, etc. It cuts through copper, hardened steel, wood, you name it. The only thing I’ll add is to use lots of precaution when using this “beast”. It’s very powerful! Use the right technique and safety equipments people. A couple times the recoil from this tool almost cost an arm and a leg…lol I also recommended buying the Sawzall kit as it has plenty of versatile blades for all your needs. The included blades that come with this saw are ok but not enough for my needs. This is one tool I’m glad to have had in my arsenals of tools. I plan to keep it around for a very long time.
